The 26^th edition of Milano Unica, Italian Textiles and Accessories Trade Show, which was held at Fiera Milano Rho, from 6 to 8 February, not only registered a significant uptick in exhibitors

The exhibitors register a +14 % increase as compared to February 2017.

Also visiting companies grew by 2,4 % with 5 949 visitors, in particular the international companies registered a +10 %.

The increase in the number of visitors, +17 %, is particularly interesting since it witness to an increased investment from companies that send more buyers.

In line with the economic data, the market trend is highlighted by the particular increase in the number of companies from Hong Kong ( +70 % ), Russia ( + 55 % ), Germany ( + 50 % ), USA ( + 20 % ), China ( + 20 % ), France ( + 15 % ) and Turkey ( + 12 % ).

The inaugural ceremony was informal but provided a wealth of stimulating contributions concerning the future of doing business in a scenario strongly conditioned by the exponential growth of technology, revolutionizing times and means of production and communication.

But this edition was also quite innovative in terms of the proposals presented to visitors, from the textiles certified sustainable for products and / or processes, on display in the Trends Area, to the work of young designers.
